Progress

Today I finished my presentation on power point. I also finished completing my note cards and added information to them. I changed things around from getting suggestions from the 11Th grade class and Mrs. Savido since I presented Friday. I was nervous about presenting on Friday but after I did it I realized that I was practicing for Friday. For my real presentation I want to be able to be less nervous and know how to explain my information without looking down a lot. I am nervous about practicing presenting because I don't like to present in front of a class or in front of people. I am a shy person so I know I'm in for a challenge that I'm willing to take to pass grad project.

I made a lot of progress in the past weeks. I finished my home page for my website and I finished my paper.

~The Begining Again~

At the end of last year I have finished my outline and everything I needed to. I am now at the beginning of my 12Th grade trimester of grad project. I am working on my paper right now. I will be interviewing my coach next week around maybe Tuesday or Wednesday. Hopefully on Tuesday during class I can go hand out my survey to the 11Th grade class so I can get my results back from that.

~The End~

It's finally the end of the trimester and I have a good start on my graduation project. I have completed in the past week all of my updated notes and bibliography. I also have just completed my detailed outline.

`Been awhile`

Its been awhile since I have blogged. I have been keeping up to date on my work. I completed everything I needed to complete in the past weeks I haven't blogged. I started my action plan and I video taped one of my games. By doing that I got to capture what slow pitch really is and what really happens. Today I started doing my survey. My survey are statements based on softball and trying to figure out what other teens think about each game.

Please help me find searching terms to search on the Internet. I am trying to locate information that helps me to decide what type of softball is better for teenage girls to play. The two things I'm having trouble finding is which game is more competitive and popular.

I managed to start my interview questions yesterday for my coach. I ended up finishing them questions today. I am thinking about asking different questions to the girls on my team that I interview or if I want to use the same ones. I started making some of them questions but not sure if I keeping them like that. So I have one set of interview questions done. I also added a new site to my easy bib site.

~Update~

We just finished presenting our grad project topics and a little information about them to the class. I also just finished my rough draft of my proposal.

Proposal ~Birthday~

Today I finished my proposal and all of my different steps I have to take to complete my project. I already started asking for permission on video taping at a softball game and asked Mr. Duty if I could borrow a camera and got the person to tape it for me.

~Success~

I started to make my steps fro my action plan. My action plan is to participate in a slow pitch game and video tape it and then participate in a fast pitch game and video tape it. To do that I had to make steps to get me closer to be bale to do this. Today I started my first paragraph for my proposal.

~Confused~

I'm confused on this part of the project because I don't know what to do for the timeline things. I know my action plan is to play slow and fast pitch both. They will be recorded so people can see the difference in the two games. I don't know how to do the steps for this and what it will be.

~Proposal~

I'm up to date on everything that needed to be done over the past few weeks. So know we are starting to put together some pieces of our proposal. By doing this I had to go back to all of my research I had to do in the past and also back to my Did You Know questions. I also looked at my essential question and looked at my other questions for this part of the proposal. My concern is going to be writing this proposal because I don't like to write.

*Up to date*

I have been looking at my questions and gathering information to try to answer my over all question. By doing this the past two days I have been taking notes about both slow and fast pitch softball. Also I have been talking to fellow players of mine and discussing my project with them and talking with my coach about things. My coach is helping me explain why one is better for someone and then how another person might think the other is better and we were discussing the differences between the two of them.

Creating collage

I looked up pictures on Friday about my topic. Then I put them in a photo shop page and started putting the pieces together to make a collage. I looked up different pictures for both types of softball fast and slow pitch. I found pictures that related to just fast pitch and then some that relate to just slow pitch. Then there were some pictures that relate to both types of softball. Today I finished putting my collage up and then put it on my blog.

Finished

As of today I am done with my 10 sites and my questions. I also have put all of my sites in easy bib as of today. I was wondering what the next step was after doing the easy bib part of the project and questions.

terms

I made process by adding more web sites to my page and making my easy bib page also. I also started looking up terms for both slow pitch and fast pitch and the ones that are similar. With doing all this I finally finished my foundation questions.

Idea

I came up with an idea of what I could do for an interview. What I have in mind is to interview my coach and one person from my slow pitch team and one person from my fast pitch team. At this point in time I am coming up with more information about softball that I didn't know about.

Concern

I do have a concern about my topic right now at this point dealing with the interviews we have to do. I don't know what to do about the interview because I don't know who to interview.

About topic

I have been doing lots of research on the two different types of softball. I found a lot of information about the different types of softball fast and slow pitch. With in doing my research it helped me come up with my main question. I also doing some other questions for the project to see if this project will be successful or not. So far as going through my research I found it is successful so far.

first assignment

I heard that we had to do things electronically and show images or videos about our project. Also that the presentation is about 40minutes. They set it up to make sure you have enough time do out project. We work on are projects independently and don't wait for the last minute to start it. This is a long process to do. I do know some of the 12Th graders this year who have done their graduation project already. I know one person who has graduated from city high who did their grad project already. The girl I know in 12Th grade had problems with her project because she waited to long to start it. I have in interest in nursing which I might want to do a project on or I might want to do a project on softball. With softball I have a big interest in because I play and I think it is a good way people can stay active and be healthy. I do have some concerns about the project which is if I chose softball what will my research be and how would I make it into a good project.
